Anzac Day 2024
Walkerville Rotarians are booked again in 2024 to cook and serve the breakfast at the RSL in Walkerville Terrace join the service at the Walkerville War Memorial and then come on down for a hearty breakfast.
Anzac Day 2022 found many Walkerville Rotarians on the early breakfast shift. Set up commenced on Sunday and continued pre dawn on Monday with first sausages and eggs hitting the bbq plate by 6:00am. Over 200 people enjoyed a hearty breakfast.
Another great team effort ensured we were cleaned up and packed away by 10:00am.
End Polio Now
Since the mid 80s Rotary and its partners have been working hard to make history by eradicating the crippling disease Polio from our planet. While Australia is currently Polio free, it remains only one plane trip away from us. 2010 saw cases of Polio worldwide reduced to 1,352, a 99% reduction since starting! Read more…
